The role oversees P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and internal controls, ensuring SOX compliance, accurate forecasting, and strong financial

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting with manufacturing accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing and inventory valuation.
• Experience with internal controls, SOX compliance and statutory reporting.
• Ability to write and discuss complex financial information in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team.
• Translate objectives into financial plans and drive corrective actions.
• Lead annual budget, monthly forecasts, and reforecasts with sound assumptions.
• Own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting for the plant.
• Analyze variances and coordinate root-cause actions with owners.
• Drive cost optimisation, productivity, and operating income improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain on cost decisions.
• Oversee cost accounting, standard costing and inventory valuation.
• Lead standard-cost roll and analyze variances in materials and overhead.
• Review product and customer profitability and flag risks/opportunities.
• Oversee inventory counts, reserves, and obsolescence actions.
• Drive working-capital improvement and balance sheet movements.
• Lead month/quarter/year-end close and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain accounting principles and strong internal controls.
