Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Plant Controller to lead the plant's financial management, driving cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with operations to provide financial insights that improve profitability, efficiency, and governance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SAP/Oracle, and advanced Excel and BI tooling. You will ensure accurate monthly closings and robust internal controls while coordinating with corporate finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years in Controlling or Finance in manufacturing.
• Advanced English proficiency to liaise with global teams.
• Strong Excel and BI tooling experience (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial closing process and ensure accuracy of plant financial statements.
• Analyze cost variances related to materials, labor, and overhead against budget/forecast.
• Prepare and present financial reports for local leadership and corporate stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Partner with operations to identify and execute cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, evaluate performance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities.
• Drive reporting standardization and automation using Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar tools.
• Provide financial guidance to plant leadership to improve operational and financial results.
