Versigent is seeking a Finance Controller to manage all aspects of financial and accounting for the site. You will oversee plant controllers, budgeting, monthly forecasting, and management accounting/reporting; advise management on financial needs and align goals with corporate leadership.

The role requires at least 3 years in automotive manufacturing finance, a Bachelor in Accounting/Finance, advanced English, and CPA preferred.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years accounting and finance experience in automotive manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance; Master degree preferred.
• CPA or local equivalent preferred; English level advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Manages all aspects of financial and accounting functions for the site.
• Administers plant controllers and is accountable for the site under his/her responsibility.
• Manages annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and the management accounting/reporting process.
• Advises management team on all financial/budgetary requirements and develops financial goals in partnership with plant and corporate leadership.
• Ensures that plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with company values, strategic goals, and business plans.
• Reviews control procedures over accounting and financial activities.
• Provides guidance to ensure that internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets.
• Ensures an adequate system of internal control is maintained, and that general ledger accounts are correctly stated, maintains SOX compliance.
• Oversees preparation of the plants financial reporting.
• Analyze and report manufacturing efficiency variances and determine corrective action requirements.
• Ensures items are correctly classified and all reporting is prepared in accordance with GAAP.
• Seek continuous improvement and use of best practices throughout the organization.
• Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, provides coaching and counseling as required to increase performance
