Confidential Careers in Monterrey is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Leader to develop, implement, and manage strategic planning and production schedules across multiple sites. You will lead the planning function to ensure on-time material movements and optimal inventory levels while driving KPI improvements.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in supply chain with 3–5 years in a senior planning role, plus strong SAP planning module expertise and advanced forecasting skills.

Functions

Develop, implement, and manage strategic and production planning schedules to enhance efficiency and meet production targets across.

Lead the planning function to ensure timely movement of materials and optimal inventory levels.

Analyze and forecast inventory needs to bring Days on Hand to a health level

Develop and execute strategies for the management and disposition of slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize financial loss.

Implement robust planning methodologies and best practices to improve overall team performance.

Provide hands-on training and mentorship to planning team members, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and problem-solving.

Collaborate with teams to align planning with operational execution.

Use data analysis to identify and resolve root causes of planning inefficiencies and inventory issues.

Experience and Background: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, with at least 3-5 years in a senior planning or management role within a manufacturing or similar industry. Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, multi-site operational environment.

Proven track record of improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DOH, schedule adherence, and planning accuracy.

Experience in roles such as Supply Chain Manager, Senior Production Planner, or S&OP Lead.

Education: A Bachelor\'s degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is a plus.

Hard Skills: Expert-level proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for planning modules.

Deep knowledge of advanced planning methodologies.

Strong data analysis and forecasting skills using tools like Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), business intelligence dashboards (e.g., MS BI), or other statistical software. Solid understanding of planning best practices, including master scheduling and capacity planning.
