Emerson Mexicali is seeking an experienced Production Planning Leader to optimize scheduling, materials flow, and cross‑functional alignment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive SIOP/RCCP processes, manage KPIs, and coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure on‑time delivery while maintaining data integrity in Oracle/ERP systems.

• Proven track record managing the full operational lifecycle, from strategic procurement to outbound logistics and fulfillment.
• Experience focusing on data integrity audits, planning parameter configuration, and KPI dashboard development.
• Experience leading new product launches, production line transfers, or software implementations.
• Ability to partner with diverse departments to synchronize priorities and mitigate bottlenecks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead RCCP and SIOP meetings as part of production planning.
• Own planning parameters in Oracle and communicate daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Attend production meetings, analyze shortages and/or non‑conformities in materials, machinery, and equipment problems; make decisions related to balancing production by work area and personnel distribution in coordination with the manufacturing supervisor.
• Participate in the validation of production processes.
• Lead and support the planning team, providing orientation based on the availability and distribution of materials.
• Attend the Customer Service meeting requirements and improve delivery dates for orders according to customer needs.
• Maintain continuous communication with the direct supervisor (Materials Manager) to keep them informed of production progress, problems and solutions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports of parts produced, items in process, work orders lacking material, and expired orders (past‑due).
• Lead Tier 3 planning initiatives.
• Participate in SIOP meetings.
• Lead RCCP meetings with production areas as part of SIOP.
• Own planning parameters in Oracle.
• Establish and communicate clear work priorities for the planning team, aligning daily tasks with high‑level project goals by leading and coaching.
• Manage KPIs and monitor departmental metrics such as schedule adherence, PDSL, RDSL, inventory goals, and ITO goals, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing the full operational lifecycle, from strategic procurement of direct/indirect materials to optimized outbound logistics and customer fulfillment.
• Good experience with platforms such as Oracle or SAP, focusing on data integrity audits, planning parameter configuration, and the development of actionable KPI dashboards.
• Experience leading new product launches (NPI), production line transfers, or software implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with diverse departments to synchronize priorities, mitigate bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions that drive overall plant efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a significant plus.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Production Planning and Supply Chain, with a proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage high‑stakes customer service accounts.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent knowledge of MRP / CRP / MPS.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (complex formulas, macros, and data modeling) and hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise‑level software.
