Flex seeks a Planner Scheduler in Guadalajara, North Campus to support production planning and materials flow for great product builds. The role involves planning, scheduling, coordinating and approving product releases to the production systems based on material and capacity availability.

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of daily and weekly production planning and OTD tracking.
• Generation of CTB reports.
• Work order management.
• Experience with ERP systems and material flow.
• Knowledge of BOMs.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.

Responsabilidades

• Generate production plans based on capacity and material availability.
• Create and manage work orders and input planning data.
• Verify WIP accuracy and monitor plan execution.
• Check feasibility of orders based on resources and notify purchasing.
• Prepare long-term plans and forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• Monitor system data, routing, BOM, and CFT data daily/weekly.
• Prepare reports (CTB, KPI) and inform order desk/ECO teams.
• Assist SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
• Provide guidance on priority of customer requests and ship date adherence.

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

The Planner Scheduler role involves in charge ofhelpingmaterials and production functions.Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.

What a typical day looks like:

• Generate production plans based on capacity.
• Create and manage work orders.
• Verify WIP accuracy.
• Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipments etc.), confirmation of the order.
• Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group
• Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations
• Preparation of long term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast)
• Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data/Non-consumed demand, planned WO’s.
• Preparing of Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.
• Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences
• Preparing management and CFT specificated reports, monitoring of KPI’s.
• Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
• Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
• Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential interruptions.
• Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
• May alsohelpinventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
