Flex is hiring a Production Planning Manager (Electronics Industry) for its Juarez South Campus, Mexico. The role oversees production planning on the factory floor, resolving bottlenecks and driving process improvements in material flow and work orders.

The ideal candidate will develop forecasts, adjust plans for demand changes, and lead Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching. ERP experience and strong leadership are required.

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Industrial, supply chain, materials logistics).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team to improve efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and English language proficiency (intermediate advantage).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan, timelines, and material needs.
• Adjust plans in response to demand changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Produce revenue investigations and annual operating plan and other forecast reports.
• Report production status and issues to upper management.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve daily production bottlenecks and productivity issues.
• Lead Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Planning Manager (Electronics Industry) located in Juarez South Campus, Mexico.

The Production Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing operational activities in the production floor, addressing bottlenecks and find solutions as well as attending improvement in processes to material flow and work orders.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and manage production forecast based onmasterplan,timelines,materialneeds to define production requirements based on plant capacity,whicharealignedwithcompany goals.

• Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changesindemand,communicateupdatesto all relevant parties and ensurematerial suppliesable tomeet the changes

• Producesrevenueinvestigationandannual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.

• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management

• Liaise with operation team to resolve daily production line disruption and productivity issues.

• In charge ofthe development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, ProductionPlanning/Coordination,Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.

• Develop material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models fordefiningmaterialplanning parameters for components.

• Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.

• Maintains reports to reflect scheduling,methods,holdingupperformance and process procedures.

• Interfaces with customers to ensuredeliverydedicationsare met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and seniormanagement.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Industrial, supply chain, materials logistics).

• Previous experience in similar position, solving operational problems on production floor.

• ERP system knowledge would be a plus.

• Strong leadership skills, able to take important decisions and lead a team to improve efficiency.

• Good communication skills.

• English intermediate will be an advantage.
