AutoZone Mexico seeks a senior Permits & Compliance Leader to oversee licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance for all stores across Mexico. You will direct the Permits Department, manage budgets, and coordinate with federal, state, and municipal authorities to ensure timely openings and ongoing operations.

You will monitor permit renewals, drive process improvements, and build strong relationships with authorities to minimize delays and risk.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
• Law, Administration.
• More than seven years of experience.
• More than 10 years in permitting processes, construction laws, permits, and lobbying with authorities.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Administrative Law, Permit Process, Budget Administration.
• English as a second language.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strategies and procedures to ensure all required licenses for new and existing stores are obtained, verified, and maintained in compliance with the FCPA, Mexican anti-corruption laws, and AutoZone policies.
• Oversee the ongoing administration of Permits Department processes and activities to efficiently secure municipal, state, and federal permits in line with new store opening schedules and ensure annual renewal of existing store permits.
• Lead reporting and analysis to identify opportunities, improve processes, and monitor new permit applications and permit renewals.
• Manage the annual budget for permit fees, vendor fees, and related studies.
• Lead the implementation of processes and action plans that support timely new store openings and the achievement of business objectives.
• Build relationships with authorities and organizations to obtain timely updates and address permit-related issues.

Educación
