Descripción de la vacante

Epiroc seeks a seasoned Payroll Specialist to lead LATAM payroll delivery across multiple countries. You will manage the relationship with the external payroll vendor, ensure accurate and timely payroll, and uphold local compliance. This hybrid role reports to the Payroll Manager within the LATAM RCoE.

You will need strong Excel skills, experience with HR/payroll systems (e.g., SuccessFactors), and fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll roles, preferably with vendor-managed payroll models.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and labor regulations.
  • Experience coordinating with external providers or shared services environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR/payroll systems (e.g., SuccessFactors).
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple countries.
  • Fluent English and Spanish; Portuguese is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Act as the primary contact between Epiroc and the external payroll vendor, ensuring smooth and accurate service delivery.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, validations, and outputs with the vendor to ensure timely and compliant payroll processing.
  • Review and validate payroll results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax, and statutory requirements across countries.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Monitor vendor performance and SLAs, addressing any deviations.
  • Support payroll systems and processes, including implementations, enhancements, and automation initiatives.
  • Resolve employee and manager inquiries, providing high-quality service experience.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams under the OneHR approach.

Payroll Specialist – LATAM RCoE
About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our LATAM Regional Center of Excellence (RCoE) HR team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of payroll services across the region, working in close collaboration with our external payroll provider.

This position reports directly to the Payroll Manager and plays a key role in ensuring vendor performance, data integrity, and a seamless employee experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Epiroc and the external payroll vendor, ensuring smooth and accurate service delivery
