Fuller Technologies in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking an HR & Payroll Business Partner to deliver accurate payroll and day-to-day HR support for Mexico employees and managers. The role also supports payroll across Latin America, with Brazil experience preferred.

We require 4–6 years of payroll experience in Mexico, fluency in Spanish and English, and the ability to work four days onsite in our hybrid Monterrey setup.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–6 years payroll experience with Mexico payroll expertise.
  • Experience in multi-country payroll across Latin America; Brazil preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll calculations, taxes, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience supporting managers/employees in ER, performance, onboarding.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Hybrid work model: Monterrey four days on-site.
  • Experience with Workday or another HRIS preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage and coordinate payroll activities, ensuring inputs, calculations, changes, deductions, bonuses, overtime, and other transactions are accurate.
  • Review and validate payroll results, audits, variances, and exceptions, resolving discrepancies and payroll questions.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with tax, wage, statutory, reporting, documentation, and controls.
  • Support multi-country payroll activities across Latin America, with regional expertise.
  • Serve as a day-to-day HR partner for managers and employees, guiding on relations, performance, attendance, policies, and workplace matters.
  • Coach managers through performance, disciplinary actions, employee development, organizational changes.
  • Coordinate onboarding, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee and payroll data in Workday and ensure timely changes.
  • Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, merit planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor and employment requirements while maintaining documentation and controls.
  • Support local recruiting, workforce planning, HR programs, training, and organizational initiatives as needed.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports and support audits as required.

About the role

The HR & Payroll Business Partner plays a critical role in delivering accurate, compliant payroll while providing day-to-day HR support for employees and managers in Mexico. This role is ideal for a strong payroll professional with deep Mexico payroll expertise and experience supporting payroll across Brazil or other Latin American countries.

About the department

The Human Resources team partners across Fuller Technologies to create a consistent and positive employee experience while supporting the needs of our growing global business. The team works closely with leaders and employees to deliver practical HR solutions, strengthen our culture, and ensure effective and compliant people practices.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate payroll activities, ensuring payroll inputs, calculations, changes, deductions, bonuses, overtime, and other transactions are accurate and processed on time.
  • Review and validate payroll results, audits, variances, and exceptions, independently identifying and resolving discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with applicable tax, wage, statutory, reporting, documentation, and control requirements.
  • Support multi-country payroll activities across Latin America, with the opportunity to apply regional payroll expertise beyond Mexico.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day HR partner for managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, policies, and workplace matters.
  • Coach managers through performance improvement, disciplinary actions, employee development, organizational changes, and other people-related matters.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee and payroll information in Workday and ensure HR and payroll changes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, merit planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment requirements while maintaining appropriate documentation and controls.
  • Support local recruiting, workforce planning, HR programs, training, and organizational initiatives as needed.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports and support internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • You bring Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4-6 years of strong, hands-on payroll experience with demonstrated expertise in Mexico payroll.
  • Experience supporting multi-country payroll across Latin America; Brazil payroll experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll calculations, controls, audits, tax, wage, and statutory requirements, with the ability to independently identify and resolve payroll issues.
  • Experience supporting managers and employees across employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and HR programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong communication, judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle confidential employee matters.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work from our Monterrey office four days per week as part of our hybrid work model.
  • Experience with Workday or another HRIS is preferred.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or operational environment is preferred.
  • HR or payroll certification is a plus.
