Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Payroll Operations Lead to drive payroll processes across North and South America, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments. You will partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance the employee experience.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll operations across multiple countries, fluency in English and working-level Spanish, and a pragmatic, strategic approach to standardization and KPI/SLA management.

• 5+ years in payroll operations across Americas (North/South).
• Experience with global payroll vendors (ADP, CloudPay, etc.).
• Workday experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English; working-level Spanish.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proven ability to implement payroll systems, tools, and integrations.
• Focus on compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.

Descripción del empleo

• Support process improvement and standardization initiatives across North and South America payrolls, aligned with FLS Global practices
• Own a payroll process with external payroll vendors by sharing payroll input data, validating calculations, and ensuring timely payments to employees and statutory agencies
• Align with HR, Finance, and Business stakeholders to drive initiatives and solve challenges
• Maintain and promote a strong focus on employee experience
• Support KPI and SLA targets
• Assist in payroll vendor service assessment and integrations
• Ensure compliance with FLS global policies and procedures
• Support external or internal audit initiatives
• Act as an advisor for the payroll function and support global standardization initiatives and implementations

Requirements

• Solid experience in payroll operations of 5+ years, with exposure to any of the following countries: Brazil, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Canada, US
• Experience working with global payroll vendors such as ADP, CloudPay or others
• Workday experience is a plus
• Fluency in English
• Working-level proficiency in Spanish
• Focus on efficiency, structure, and clarity
• Excellent grasp of payroll systems, tools, and automation opportunities, including handling implementations or integrations
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Pragmatic and strategic mindset
