Qualifications

• AA or BA/BS desired.
• 1-3 years healthcare/call center experience preferred.

• Able to withstand long periods of desk work.

Responsibilities

• Answer all calls in a professional and friendly manner.
• Appropriately manage a queue of patient phone calls.
• Direct phone calls to other departments as directed.
• Maintain a database of correct patient information.
• Efficiently schedule appointments for multiple doctors across several offices.
• Initiate calls to patients as requested in a timely and efficient manner.
• Analyze, solve, and correct customer service issues using the LEAP technique.
• Cultivate an organized and orderly atmosphere.
• Achieve established Scheduling Specialist goals and objectives.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
