Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology, seeks a Solutions Engineer to support Balance of Plant applications and advise on parts kits and commercial opportunities. You’ll engage with Sales Managers, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver technically sound, costed proposals and quotations.

The role covers back-office project activities and hands-on testing, with travel expected overseas and a focus on delivering reliable, optimized solutions across aero-derivative gas

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years experience, or a Master’s with 5+ years (MBA preferred).
• Experience in engineering, installation, commissioning, field service, maintenance, customer service, technical sales, or applications engineering.
• Experience managing technical projects and coordinating across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong customer-facing skills translating technical requirements into practical solutions and commercial opportunities.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, with approximately 25% travel expected.
• Advanced or bilingual English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Provide regional technical and commercial support to Sales Managers, identifying parts opportunities and developing strategies to secure customer orders.
• Work directly with customers and operators to understand their needs, define parts kits and spare parts priorities, and support maintenance and major parts planning.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Order Administrators, Parts Definers, and other internal stakeholders to develop technical solutions and accurate customer proposals.
• Prepare project cost estimates, pricing and margin analyses, risk assessments, bid approval documentation, and commercial proposals.
• Develop and provide customer quotations, including pricing, lead times, technical information, and applicable commercial conditions.
• Support a broad portfolio of equipment, including aero-derivative gas turbines, power turbines, combustion air systems, lubrication systems, and other related equipment.

A Snapshot of Your Day

In the department GS CD NA, we are responsible for servicing the installed base of Power Plant Control Systems and Digitalization solutions. In this role, you will focus on solving our clients’ business challenges in the areas of performance, reliability, and availability. As a Solutions Engineer supporting Balance of Plant applications, you will interface with internal and external stakeholders and help maintain control standards for HRSG Bypass Stations, Steam Attemperators, and major 4160 equipment. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to back-office project activities, with the remaining 25% spent in a test environment.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant engineering experience, or a Master’s degree, preferably an MBA, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: engineering, installation and commissioning, field service, maintenance, customer service, technical sales, or applications engineering.
• Experience managing technical projects and coordinating across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions and commercial opportunities.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, with approximately 25% travel expected.
• Advanced or bilingual English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with customers and global teams.
