AgileEngine is seeking a data engineering and infrastructure lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions in a part-time advisory capacity. You will mentor the team on AWS, DevOps, and data practices, reviewing SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines and prioritizing governance over custom builds.

The role emphasizes evaluating AI-assisted workflows and setting technical direction to improve reliability and efficiency across live applications.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS Postgres, S3, SageMaker).
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code, esp. Terraform.
• Proven track record designing/auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architecture evaluation.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows for cost/governance.
• Comfortable in a part-time advisory capacity (50% to 25%).

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live applications (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, SageMaker).
• Review CI/CD process and end-to-end SDLC governance with环境 separation and release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for output quality and cost management.
• Advise on ETL/data-ingestion architecture (managed tools vs custom builds).
• Mentor infrastructure build team on AWS, DevOps, CI/CD and data practices.
• Provide recommendations and set technical direction from audit findings.
• Report audit results and readiness to leadership with risk framing.
