AgileEngine is seeking a part-time Data Engineering & Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and ETL decisions. You will mentor the team on engineering standards and evaluate AI-assisted workflows, including Claude Code, to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes a balance of advisory responsibilities (50% stepping down to 25%), Terraform-based infrastructure, and hands-on guidance across AWS services like SageMaker and RDS.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands‑on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS Postgres, S3, SageMaker, VPC/ALB, IAM)
• Fluency in Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Proven track record designing or auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance
• Strong data engineering depth to advise on ETL/ingestion architecture
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code) from quality and cost perspectives

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live apps (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront) and SageMaker MLOps pipelines
• Review CI/CD and SDLC governance; suggest environment separation and release gating
• Assess Claude Code usage for engineering quality and costs
• Provide early opinions on ETL/data-ingestion architecture (managed tools vs custom builds)
• Mentor infrastructure team and drive AWS, DevOps, CI/CD and data practices
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership
