AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions, in an advisory capacity. You will mentor the team on engineering standards, review SageMaker-based ML workflows, and balance managed tooling with custom builds.

The role focuses on AWS, DevOps, CI/CD governance, and data engineering practices, with 50% to 25% advisory capacity and a flexible work arrangement in Monterrey, Mexico.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker).
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architecture opinions.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code) for quality and cost governance.

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live apps (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront/SSO, SageMaker-based ML ops).
• Review CI/CD processes and SDLC governance, proponing environment separation and release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for quality and cost governance.
• Advise on ETL/data-ingestion architecture, choosing managed vs. custom builds.
• Mentor the infra/build team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data practices.
• Provide leadership with recommendations and high-level risk readouts.
