ABB in Mexico is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize the painting line and related assembly processes at our Apodaca facility. You will analyze cycle times, drive efficiency, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental requirements while supporting cost targets and equipment investment budgets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or mechatronic engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (painting, metalworking or surface treatment preferred).
• Experience with OEE, TEE/ETE, VSM, line balancing and SMED to drive productivity and continuous improvement.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and basic manufacturing data analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure paint line processes comply with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor production performance, analyze data, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, process sheets, and visual aids for the painting line.
