Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a skilled technical writer to develop and maintain operation manuals, labels, and service documentation for new products. You will ensure accuracy, manage ECO/ECN revisions, and collaborate with Engineering and Product Safety teams.

The role focuses on aligning documentation with regulatory requirements, coordinating across global teams, and supporting certification and compliance efforts while maintaining strong project management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop operation manuals for new Milwaukee products.
• Create and maintain product labels aligned with global regulatory requirements.
• Generate technical service documentation and supporting materials.
• Ensure existing documentation remains accurate and current.
• Manage documentation revisions with ECOs/ECNs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Safety teams to gather information.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistency in docs.
• Support certification and compliance activities through documentation.
• Participate in design reviews when documentation impacts releases.
• Maintain document control systems and databases.
• Track priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
