Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Packaging Engineer for our New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon to design, develop and validate packaging changes from concept to launch. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets performance, cost and sustainability requirements.

You will mentor entry-level engineers and potentially interns, supporting continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across the product portfolio.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years engineering experience.
• Knowledge of packaging processes and ISTA/ASTM testing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee packaging development from concept to launch.
• Design, develop and validate packaging solutions focusing on cost, sustainability and protection.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sourcing and Manufacturing to optimize packaging.
• Develop and implement test plans and coordinate supplier testing.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives through new materials or methods.
• Benchmark competitors and stay current on packaging tech.
