Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Engineer for its New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon. You will design, develop, and validate product packaging from concept to launch, mentoring entry level engineers and potentially interns.

Your work will support cost reduction and continuous improvement across the packaging portfolio. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver packaging solutions that meet cost, sustainability, and protection requirements, while aligning

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of packaging processes, testing standards (ISTA, ASTM), and performance testing.
• Solution oriented, collaborative, proactive, self-starter and a team player.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across organization levels.
• Excellent time management to handle several projects.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the packaging development process, including design, development, and testing.
• Understand product characteristics, environmental and safety requirements, and packaging materials.
• Support operations by improving packaging efficiency and reducing costs.
• Develop packaging for new programs and promotions with cost estimates and prototypes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize designs for assembly.
