Job summary

Papigen in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide the OutSystems AI Pod, shaping the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade low-code applications with AI capabilities. You will provide technical leadership, mentor developers, set best practices, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience.
5+ years of hands-on OutSystems development.
Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
Experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
Experience with AI integrations (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar).
Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Agile/Scrum experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using OutSystems.
Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
Integrate AI capabilities, REST APIs, and enterprise systems into OutSystems applications.
Lead code reviews, technical design sessions, and solution architecture discussions.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
Drive Agile delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and technical mentoring.
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production deployments.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance.
