Job summary

Steelcase Monterrey is seeking an Order Management Intern to join the Direct Sell Order Fulfillment Department. You will organize, analyze, and proofread internal purchase orders, identify critical order information for manufacturing, and support sales and product development by accurately entering purchase orders.

The role requires advanced English, a bachelor’s degree in International Business or related field, and full-time availability from 7am to 4pm with graduation planned for December

Qualifications

• Advanced written and oral English (100%)
• Currently studying a bachelor's degree in International Business, Commerce or related.
• Full-time availability (7am-4pm)
• To graduate at least on December 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Organize, analyzes, researches and proofsread internal purchase orders.
• Identify order conditions for critical information required by manufacturing to meet deadlines.
• Support sales and product development efforts by accurately entering purchase orders.
• Ensure orders are acknowledged within Sales Service throughput measures by accurately identifying the necessary steps needed to complete orders and routing them to the appropriate work area.
• Research order discrepancies pertaining to schedule request, pricing, shipping information and service part order information.
• Communicate with dealers and customer service representatives regarding simple to complex change requests and discrepancies.
• Communicate with various levels of internal and external customers.
• Perform direct pricing and invoicing functions.
• Release commissions to Steelcase dealers.
