Alwood in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a highly organized associate to join our international operations team. This full-time role coordinates order fulfillment and optimizes logistics across global suppliers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the order cycle.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of experience in international purchasing or logistics, is fluent in English and Spanish, and can work primarily in-office at the Cumbres Elite Monterrey location.

• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, logistics engineer or related field.
• Ability to work primarily in-office in Monterrey (Cumbres Elite Monterrey).

Responsabilidades

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a highly organized and detail-oriented associate to join our international operations team in Monterrey MX. This role is responsible for coordinating order fulfillment and optimizing international logistics operations, managing supplier orders, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the complete cycle of the order process.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics and solutions driven environment, is proactive in problem solving, and can effectively manage multiple tasks across international vendors.

Mandatory Requirements (applications without these will NOT be considered)

• Must currently live in Monterrey, Nuevo León or surrounding area
• At least 4 – 5 years of experience in international purchasing, order fulfillment, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, logistics engineer or related field.
• Ability to work primarily in-office in Monterrey. Office location area: Cumbres Elite Monterrey.

This position does not offer relocation support.

Candidates who are not currently living already in Monterrey Mexico will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

International Order Management

• Verify and manage purchase orders with global suppliers
• Monitor overseas production schedules and timelines
• Track timely production from vendors
• Perform ownership of assigned accounts and be proactive mind for customer needs.

Logistics Coordination

• Organize and assign Freight Forwarders between international origins and final customers in Mexico, United States and Canada
• Work closely with documents and customs brokers
• Monitor shipments and resolve logistics issues proactively.

Customer Service & Communication

• Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status and shipments
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem solving
• Negotiate freight costs with forwarders and carriers
• Identify alternative logistics routes and cost-saving opportunities
• Track freight expenses and maintain logistics performance metrics

  Administrative & Operational Support

  • Data entry and logistics documentation
  • Invoice review and approvals
  • Support basic financial tracking under supervision of the Logistics Operations Manager
  • Maintain organized logistics records and reporting

  • Strong Analytical Skills focusing to optimize logistics.
  • Effective Customer Service skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management (a plus)
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for logistics and supply chain processes
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup with strong time management, proactiveness and self-discipline
