Nemak in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking an Operations Supervisor responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day operations, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently while aligning with company standards and policies.

You will lead a diverse team, resolve delays, coach staff, monitor safety, and implement process improvements to hit production targets and satisfy customers.

Formación

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience as team leader or supervisor.
• English – preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve operational delays and issues by making timely decisions to support team performance.
• Evaluate team members and assign responsibilities based on skills.
• Prioritize tasks according to production schedules and delegate to team leaders.
• Communicate goals clearly and monitor progress to meet objectives.
• Address employee concerns and escalate to HR when necessary.
• Coach and train employees, including new hires and experienced staff.
• Promote and enforce policies and standards to ensure compliance.
• Monitor workflows and reorganize resources to improve performance.
• Plan and organize personnel, resources, and schedules to maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop process improvements to meet production targets and customer requirements.

Responsible for supervising and managing operational activities, ensuring the effective execution of day-to-day tasks while contributing to the achievement of the organization's goals, standards, and policies.

Main Responsibilities

• Resolve operational delays and issues by making timely and effective decisions to support team performance.
• Evaluate team members objectively and assign responsibilities based on individual skills and capabilities.
• Prioritize tasks according to production schedules and business objectives, delegating responsibilities to team leaders to ensure operational efficiency.
• Communicate departmental goals clearly and monitor progress to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Address employee concerns, suggestions, and workplace conflicts, escalating cases to Human Resources when necessary.
• Assess and develop employees' skills through continuous coaching and training for both new hires and experienced staff.
• Promote and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure compliance.
• Monitor workflows and assigned activities, reorganizing resources and processes when needed to improve performance.
• Plan and organize personnel, resources, and schedules to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment and prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to achieve production targets and meet customer requirements.

• Education: Engineering Degrees

• Experience: Team Leader, Auditor, Supervisor
• Languages: English – Preferred.
