Job summary

Landing is seeking an Operations Specialist in Polanco, Mexico City, to ensure every Landing home has working internet, utilities, and digital keys. You’ll own issues until fixed, coordinating with providers, hosts, and teammates in English daily.

• Fluent English (B2–C1); resume must be in English.
• At least 1 year juggling multiple projects or operations.
• Strong follow-through and ability to chase tasks to completion.
• Clear, friendly written and verbal communication.
• Experience with vendors or service providers is a plus.
• Familiarity with smart locks or key management is a plus.
• Comfortable with occasional extra hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and shut off internet service for homes, including installs and coordinating with providers.
• Be the first point of contact for WiFi problems and work with providers to restore service quickly.
• Support hosts via live chat with access, cleaning, shopping, and safety questions.
• Activate and fund company cards, process reimbursements, and manage autopay and large payments.
• Reschedule or release jobs, flag urgent issues to Field Operations.
• Shut off utilities and coordinate returns of rented equipment when homes leave.
• Create and manage digital keys and smart lock access through systems like Latch, Key Cafe, Key Nest.
• Audit accounts, autopay settings, and property fees to catch mistakes early.

About Landing:

Landing is a nationwide hospitality platform where fully furnished apartments meet hotel quality and consistency. Guests book from thousands of apartments in hundreds of US cities, for a week or a year, all backed by 24/7 local support. Behind every stay is a team making sure each home is ready the moment a guest walks in, with the WiFi running and the door code working. That's where you come in.

About the Role:

As an Operations Specialist on our Ancillary Ops team, you'll make sure every Landing home has working internet, utilities, and digital keys, and you'll help our hosts (the gig workers who clean and shop for our homes) solve problems in real time. Your biggest focus is getting WiFi ready before every home launches and fixing WiFi issues fast. This isn't a call center role. When something breaks, you own it until it's fixed, which means following up with providers, vendors, and teammates until it's done.

You'll work in English every day alongside teams across the US, from our office in Polanco. No two days look the same, and you'll build real skills in vendor management, property tech, and operations that set you up to grow with us.

What You'll Do:

• Set up, manage, and shut off internet service for our homes, including scheduling installs, working with providers, and making sure WiFi works before a guest moves in


• Be the first point of contact for WiFi problems, troubleshoot routers and modems, and work with internet providers to get service back fast


• Support hosts over live chat with access, cleaning, shopping, and safety questions


• Activate and fund PEX cards (the company payment cards hosts use on the job), process reimbursements, and keep autopay and large payments accurate


• Reschedule or release jobs when plans change, and flag urgent issues to our Field Operations team


• Shut off power, water, gas, and internet when a home leaves our portfolio, and coordinate returns of rented equipment


• Create and manage digital keys and smart lock access through systems like Latch, Key Cafe, and Key Nest


• Audit utility accounts, autopay settings, and property fees to catch mistakes early

What You Bring:

• Fluent English (B2 to C1). Your resume and application must be in English, and we can't consider ones submitted in other languages


• At least one year of juggling multiple projects or operations at the same time


• Strong follow through. You keep track of what you're waiting on and chase it until it's done


• Clear, friendly communication in writing and on calls


• Strong organization and attention to detail. You notice when a date or a number looks off


• Experience working with vendors or service providers, like internet or utility companies, is a plus


• Familiarity with smart locks or key management systems is a plus


• Experience with company cards, reimbursements, or expense tracking is a plus


• Comfortable working extra hours during busy periods

Where and When:

• Full time in our Polanco office in Mexico City. This role is not remote or hybrid


• Five days a week with two days off, with shifts that often include evenings. Your schedule may change from time to time based on what the team needs, and days off may not always fall on weekends

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $18,000 MXN gross per month


• Bonus: Monthly performance bonus of up to $5,000 MXN


• Grocery vouchers: $1,500 MXN net per month


• Vacation: 12 days per year (available after 90 days)


• Paid time off: 40 hours per year (available after 30 days)
