Amazon Operations in Mexico is seeking a talented Operations Manager to lead growth and scalability across the region, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver on customer promises. The role focuses on setting goals, improving processes, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a dynamic logistics network.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
  • 6+ years of operational experience.

Responsabilidades

  • Set and communicate strategy and performance goals to maximize productivity.
  • Partner with AMZL Delivery Station management to maintain quality standards.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally and track tasks.
  • Communicate across areas to align goals and tasks for program success.
  • Plan strategically and forecast performance and problem resolution.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Drive cross-functional projects with data analysis and insights.
  • Improve transportation networks for faster, cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure safety, building security, and loss prevention procedures.

The team is currently seeking a talented Operations Manager to support our operations growth and ensure scalability across the region.

Key job responsibilities
  • Setting and communicating the strategy and performance goals while ensuring productivity on route is maximized through, training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis.
  • Partnering with the AMZL Delivery Station under the roof (UTR) management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  • Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Cross functional coordination and task tracking.
  • Communications across various areas to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to guarantee the overall success of the program.
  • Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Management and execution of cross-functional projects or components of large programs including data gathering, manipulation and analysis, forward looking supply chain approaches and communication of insights & recommendations.
  • Creating and implementing improvements to our transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products on behalf of our customers.
  • Ensuring procedures are followed for safety, building security and product loss prevention
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • 6+ years of operational experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • MBA, or Master's degree
