Amazon Operations in Chihuahua, MX is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive growth and scale across the region. You will lead cross-functional teams, set performance goals, and partner with delivery station leadership to ensure quality and safety.

This role emphasizes Lean process improvements, data-driven decision making, and strategic planning to deliver efficient, reliable service for customers while managing multiple projects and ensuring compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Fluent in English; able to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with lean methods is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set strategy and performance goals and maximize route productivity through training, analysis, and feedback of performance data.
• Partner with the AMZL Delivery Station management team to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Identify and lead process improvements using Lean tools.
• Coordinate cross-functional tasks and track progress.

• Forecast performance and resolve problems.
• Manage multiple complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Improve the transportation network to deliver efficient products to customers.

Operations Manager Role

The team is currently seeking a talented Operations Manager to support our operations growth and ensure scalability across the region.

Key job responsibilities

• Setting and communicating the strategy and performance goals while ensuring productivity on route is maximized through training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis.
• Partnering with the AMZL Delivery Station under the roof (UTR) management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
• Cross functional coordination and task tracking.
• Communications across various areas to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to guarantee the overall success of the program.
• Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Management and execution of cross‑functional projects or components of large programs including data gathering, manipulation and analysis, forward looking supply chain approaches and communication of insights & recommendations.
• Creating and implementing improvements to our transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products on behalf of our customers.
• Ensuring procedures are followed for safety, building security and product loss prevention.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• 7+ years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
