Flex is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an industrial engineering team at our Guadalajara, South Campus location. You will oversee staffing, procurement, production and engineering services, while ensuring ISO and safety compliance and driving operational excellence.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will mentor the operations team, apply Lean practices, and coordinate with other sites to optimize performance and capacity planning.

Formación

• Strong experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of SMT processes, assembly, backend.
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and 5´s PCBA Experience Management of production plan and monitoring
• Schedule availability.
• People management experience

Responsabilidades

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Manager located in Guadalajara, South Campus. Reporting to the Production Manager, Operations Manager role involves working responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:
