HSBC Holdings plc in Toluca, Mexico seeks a senior specialist with deep expertise in IBM Content Manager OnDemand and OpenText Exstream, plus CCS. You will guide document management across compose, archival, retrieval and search to support critical journeys.

The role involves shaping roadmaps, system design, and aligning strategy with Future State Architecture, working with global IT and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

• Proven solid experience with IBM CMOD platform including advanced knowledge of data retention framework and upgrades.
• Proven experience with OpenText Exstream platform including advanced knowledge of document templates management and upgrades.
• Firm understanding of end-to-end document management to assist design and process engineering.
• Experience in an agile environment using the latest DevOps tools.
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors.
• Strong expertise in Mainframe, iSeries & Distributed platforms.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Oracle/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB, and scripting languages.
• Experience with IBM CMOD Document Retention Framework.

Responsabilidades

• Design and define document management solutions using CMOD, Exstream, and CCS, covering composition, transformation, archiving, viewing, retrieval and search.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions with users, architecture and IT teams.
• Manage the document retention strategy ensuring compliance with group and country frameworks.
• Contribute to technology evolution including roadmaps, upgrades and improvements for CMOD and Exstream.
• Implement and optimize DevOps practices with Jenkins and Ansible in Agile environments.
• Investigate production incidents, performing root-cause analysis across mainframe, iSeries and distributed environments.
• Present and document technical solutions to stakeholders, coordinating with global teams and suppliers.

Seeking a highly skilled professional with in-depth knowledge of the IBM Content Management Ondemand (CMOD), OpenText Exstream platform and Customer Content Services (CCS) application, responsible for providing expert guidance on document management capabilities such as compose, archival, retrieval, search, transformation supporting Important Business Service and critical customer journeys.

This role requires the candidate to be able to involve in product roadmap, system design, strategy align to business & Future State Architecture (FSA), engaged in business requirement discussions, work with local business stakeholders, regional & global IT teams, key enabler supporting global digital and paperless strategy and Support global document retention strategy according to Group / Country records retention Framework and present technical solutions to stakeholders. Additionally, they should be able to present technical solutions to stakeholders, explaining complex concepts in clear, understandable terms.

Main activities

• Design and define document management solutions using IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), OpenText Ex stream and the Customer Content Services (CCS) application, covering document composition, transformation, archiving, viewing, retrieval and search.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, participating in sessions with users, business teams, architecture, technology and other global or regional teams.
• Manage the document retention strategy, ensuring that solutions comply with the Group and country records retention framework, including the use and maintenance of the CMOD retention framework.
• Contribute to the technology evolution and platform roadmaps, including design, modernization, version upgrades, impact assessments and improvement planning for CMOD and OpenText Ex stream.
• Implement and optimize DevOps and automation practices using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible, integrating development, testing, deployment and continuous delivery processes within Agile environments.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, conducting root-cause analysis and troubleshooting across mainframe, iSeries, distributed, Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and document integration environments.
• Present and document technical solutions to stakeholders, explaining complex concepts clearly and coordinating with internal teams, external suppliers and global teams to ensure the delivery and operation of the solutions.
