Emerson in Nuevo Laredo seeks a senior site leader to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the facility. You will align with business objectives, customer requirements and Emerson values while building a high‑performing organization.

You will champion safety, quality and continuous improvement, own the site's P&L, budgets and forecasts, and drive productivity across manufacturing, purchasing and inventory to meet targets and customer commitments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience leading complex multi‑function manufacturing environments with site accountability.
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profitability initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain, and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading diverse teams and translating strategy into operational results.
• Ability to travel as required to support objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead product transfers, new introductions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Own the site's P&L, budgets, forecasts, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Drive productivity and cost competitiveness through manufacturing, purchasing, inventory and resource management.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to support growth and margin objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and problem‑solving methods.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, environmental and safety programs.
• Develop relationships with suppliers, customers and global partners for long‑term success.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all functions within the Nuevo Laredo facility, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and Emerson values.
• Lead and develop a high-performing organization that promotes collaboration, continuous learning, inclusion, accountability, and employee engagement.
• Coach and support leaders across the site by establishing clear expectations, fostering professional development, and building organizational capability and succession pipelines.
• Champion a culture of safety, integrity, quality, and operational excellence across all levels of the organization.
• Drive manufacturing performance to achieve customer commitments, production targets, quality objectives, and on-time delivery goals across domestic, international, and intercompany operations.
• Develop and execute operational plans that optimize capacity, scheduling, resource allocation, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Partner with commercial, customer service, engineering, and global functional teams to resolve customer challenges and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Lead operational readiness and execution for product transfers, new product introductions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Own the site's profit and loss performance, including the development and execution of annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Drive productivity, profitability, and sustainable cost competitiveness through effective manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, and resource management strategies.
• Monitor operational and financial performance metrics and implement actions that support growth, margin improvement, and business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other problem-solving methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer value.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and workplace safety programs.
• Drive improvements in quality performance, inventory accuracy, inventory optimization, and supply chain effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, community stakeholders, and global business partners to support long-term operational success.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical knowledge, and relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex manufacturing or operations environments with responsibility for multiple business functions.
• Experience managing operational and financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profitability initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain operations, materials management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading and developing diverse teams in a multi-level manufacturing organization.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic objectives into sustainable operational results.
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements within a manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication, change management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as required to support business and operational objectives.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience leading a manufacturing facility with full site accountability, including profit and loss ownership.
• Experience within industrial manufacturing, automation, engineered products, capital equipment, or related industries.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, operational excellence programs, and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Experience supporting global manufacturing operations, product transfers, or multi-site operations.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and customer-focused quality improvement programs.
• Experience leading large-scale organizational development, workforce planning, and succession management initiatives.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Advanced degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field.
