Baker Hughes Company seeks a senior project leader to drive integrated projects across Mexico with a strong focus on QHSE, safety, and operational excellence. You will apply PMP methodologies, lead governance structures, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams including contracts, product lines, and HR.

The role requires a decade of oil and gas experience, global matrix collaboration, and a proven track record in risk and financial management to optimize project outcomes.

Formación

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of oil and gas industry experience.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and interpersonal skills.

Role Summary: Responsible for leading and executing integrated projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational performance. Experienced in strategic leadership, risk management, financial administration, continuous improvement, customer relationship management, and multidisciplinary team coordination. Focused on optimizing business results through the application of PMP methodologies, strengthening the QHSE culture, and driving operational excellence in complex and highly demanding environments.

Responsibilities
  • Reinforce the company's QHSE policies and actively participate in the compliance and continuous improvement of the Baker Hughes Management System, while maintaining service quality as the foundation of every operation and continuously driving operational excellence.
  • Ensure that all work is executed with the highest standards of quality by utilizing iPRA and DRA processes to assess operational readiness and results, while ensuring full compliance with the Service Quality Plan and the 3PV process for integrated projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for both customer evaluation processes and internal operations, identifying business needs and opportunities to strengthen the company's competitive position in the market.
  • Apply Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies throughout all phases of integrated projects, leading project governance structures, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and supporting commercial teams in the assessment and mitigation of project-related business risks.
  • Manage and control project budgets, costs, and financial objectives throughout the project lifecycle, including the review and approval of expenditures.
  • Lead the implementation of solutions and the execution of corrective actions arising from project-related events across Mexico.
  • Serve as the integrated operational liaison between customers and managers from each service line, ensuring alignment, communication, and effective project execution.
  • Coordinate with the Contracts Manager on monthly project closeouts and contractual matters, as well as with Product Lines, 3PVs, QHSE, and Human Resources regarding staffing, personnel development, and workforce planning.
  • Develop annual business plans aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Be responsible for long-term planning and key management decision-making processes.
  • Review and evaluate critical technical services, coordinate operational activities, and make key decisions to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project execution.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience with Integrated Projects.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Field Service operations and well construction/Completion.
  • Promotes a culture of performance across multiple Product Lines, functions, and external parties.
  • Has good understanding of the entire well construction process and operations.
  • Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Understanding of the service delivery process and the technical nature of the business.
  • Frequently visit the Baker Hughes base and the TPVs base to review tool failure investigations and conduct quality assurance checks on the equipment.
