Job summary

RTX Mexicali is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to drive reliability and excellence across our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement world-class quality control systems, lead proactive strategies, and apply Lean Six Sigma, RCCA and UPPAP methodologies in a global setting.

You will influence product design, perform root cause analyses, and guide corrective actions while ensuring compliance with PPAP and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience on related field.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge & SAP domain.
• Proficient English required.

Responsibilities

• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
• Explain testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance.
• Analyze nonconformities and design problems; recommend corrective actions for products and processes.
• Utilize UPPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans) to identify risk and propose solutions.
• Review process control documentation for compliance with requirements and contracts.
• Develop and maintain quality systems for materials processed into finished products.
• Collaborate with product design to devise testing plans and ensure reliability of products.
