Princess Cruises is seeking a Bar Steward to support the beverage team aboard our ships. You will assist in setting up the bar, ensuring brand standards, and delivering an excellent guest beverage experience.

The role requires at least two years in a Bar Steward or similar hotel/cruise role, with a background in wine and cocktails and a solid understanding of sanitation regulations. Fluency in English is essential, and flexibility for ship life is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Bar Steward or similar in hotel/cruise
• Graduate of recognized Hotel/Hospitality school preferred
• Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations
• Ability to organize and meet deadlines
• Know-how in wine, beverages, cocktails and presentation
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Responsabilités

• Assist the Bartender in setting up the bar per brand standards and hours
• Provide a positive beverage experience to guests per service standards
• Promote beverage packages and Dining venues to exceed targets
• Keep lounge area clean, sanitary, and welcoming
• Prepare bar items for service per brand standards
• Assist in bar inventory counts as directed
• Deliver OceanNow orders accurately and timely
• Assist in food service as directed by Bar Supervisor/Manager
• Follow beverage accounting procedures and report irregularities
• Handle and store equipment, inventory and supplies properly
