Princess Cruises is seeking a Waiter - IHR for a Fixed Term Contract in Mexico. The role requires at least three years of fine dining experience and one year on a cruise ship, with fluent English and strong guest service skills.

You will maintain elegant table settings, upsell beverages, manage orders via on-board tools, and ensure brand-standard service during meals. The position offers a competitive salary package, a private cabin, and company-paid travel to the ship, along with onboard access

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years fine dining experience as a Waiter or Restaurant Supervisor in a large hospitality setting.
• Minimum of one year Cruise ship experience as Waiter or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of fine dining service standards, international cuisine, and wine.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Creates a comfortable, elegant atmosphere by always preparing table settings and maintaining service stations in accordance with all company standards.
• Understands the food and beverage menus and upsells based on guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Manages orders for assigned areas using on-board tools and technology; delivers food and beverages on time and in the correct order.
• Ensures service procedures are followed during meal times, including clearing and cleaning tables to brand standards.
• Cultivates a memorable connection with each guest by showing genuine interest during service.
• Adapts service to guest preferences and anticipates guest needs.
• Understands ship facilities and service expectations, rectifying deficiencies promptly.
• Utilizes ship outlets knowledge to offer flexible options and on Medallion Class tools to deliver personalized experience.
• Promotes Specialty Dining venues to enhance the guest dining experience and strives to exceed targets.
• Executes sales promotions and events notifications without interrupting dining experience.
