Job summary

RHI Magnesita GmbH in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico is seeking a Payroll Senior to lead accurate, compliant payroll operations across North America for Mexico, Canada, and the United States. This on-site role reports to the Payroll Team Leader and focuses on process efficiency and control.

You will execute end-to-end payroll, manage complex regulatory requirements, and collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business admin, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience.
• Experience managing payroll for multinational orgs.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, social security, and compliance.
• Advanced Excel with Pivot, formulas, data analysis.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll for North America per calendar and SLAs.
• Ensure accurate salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, taxes, and contributions.
• Review results and reconcile data for compliance.
• Coordinate hires, terminations, transfers and lifecycle events.
• Analyze discrepancies with HR, Finance, vendors, and employees.
• Support labor, tax, social security and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare payroll reports, metrics, audits, and management info.
• Assist payroll system implementations and integrations.
