KEMET de México, part of the YAGEO Group, seeks a Maintenance Engineer for our San Nicolás, NL plant. You will lead technical personnel, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive actions to improve equipment reliability while ensuring safety, environment, and quality standards.

This on-site role requires a mechanical/electrical/mechatronic engineering degree and 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing maintenance, with strong English and leadership skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree as mechanical engineer, electronic engineer, mechatronic engineer or related field.
• 5+ years as a supervisor working with technical personnel in manufacturing maintenance.
• Advanced English level.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor performance indicators to avoid unscheduled stoppages.
• Coordinate, lead, and train assigned technical personnel, with a strong focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, spare parts, and inventory for the department.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Apply quality tools and problem-solving methodologies to identify and eliminate root causes.
• Utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, including MTTR, MTBF, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and FMEA.
• Develop and execute work plans for equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning activities.
