KEMET de México seeks a Manufacturing Engineer at its Guadalupe, NL plant to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing processes. The role focuses on eliminating waste, improving process performance, and supporting productivity, quality, and cost objectives on a full-time, on-site basis.

The candidate will analyze process performance, resolve manufacturing issues, and coordinate manufacturing systems with strong English communication, solid organizational skills, and experience

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.
• Advanced English level and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Strong organization, management, and analytical thinking capabilities.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Lean tools: Heijunka, SMED, TPM.
• Knowledge of Core tools: Control Plan, FMEA, Process Flow.

Responsabilidades

• Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Develop systems to maintain high manufacturing and product quality.
• Ensure processes, equipment, and products meet safety standards.
• Coordinate and improve manufacturing systems across the plant (5S, Visual Factory, Gemba Walks).
• Maintain documentation and prepare performance reports.
• Communicate project results to all levels within the organization.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to achieve goals.
