KEMET de México, part of the YAGEO Group, is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to maintain and improve our plant Quality Management Systems at the San Nicolás, NL facility. The role focuses on audits, corrective actions, documentation control, and supplier/customer qualification processes.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, 3+ years in manufacturing quality or similar roles, and advanced English.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, chemical, materials, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics engineer or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, process customer quality or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English level.
• Ability to coordinate activities with different areas.
• Strong audits experience and QMS familiarity (internal, customer, and supplier).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and/or VDA 6.3.
• Experience with 5 Why, 8D, and A3 problem-solving methods.

Responsabilidades

• Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality systems audits.
• Support preparation, evidence collection, execution, and follow‑up of external and customer audits.
• Follow up on corrective actions, preventive actions, and plans to audits, internal findings, customer complaints, or specific customer requirements.
• Support the maintenance and control of Quality Management Systems documentation.
• Coordinate and follow up on customer qualification packages, including evidence collection, documentation, and communication with the involved areas.
• Support root cause analysis activities, 5 Why, 8D, A3, and effectiveness verification of corrective actions.
