Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of compressors, generators, and power systems, ensuring uptime and safety.

You will join the Service team, report to the Technical Support Team Leader, and collaborate with workshop staff to meet service targets and learn through the Learning Link platform.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of compressor maintenance experience.
• 1–2 years of generator and battery maintenance experience.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance experience.
• Technical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Compliance with industrial safety standards.
• Electrical, mechanical systems knowledge including welding and cutting.
• Experience handling chemicals and hazardous waste; ability to work in confined spaces/heights.
• English: Basic (A2).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to strategic planning and align maintenance activities with business objectives.
• Keep punctuality at customer sites and adhere to planning schedules.
• Support workshop activities and participate in training when no service orders exist.
• Perform initial commissioning of Atlas Copco and Chicago Pneumatic product lines.
