Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Controls and Automation Engineering or related field.
• 1–2+ years in industrial automation capital equipment manufacturing engineering, integration, or field service.
• Proficient with PLCs, HMIs, and robotic motion control servo systems.
• Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, launch and monitor the customer base.
• Troubleshoot, repair, reprogram, and improve production performance of equipment.
• Carry out startups and commissioning of automation equipment.
• Identify and resolve electrical and software problems in the field.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support by phone, email or online.
• Modify control software (PLCs, safety PLCs, HMIs).
• Provide on-site production support to reduce downtime and failures.
• Supervise electrical installations in automation equipment.
• Prepare detailed service and expense reports accurately and timely.
• Coordinate safety lockouts, machine requirements, and specifications with project teams.
