Job summary

Flex is seeking an NPI Manager at the Flex South Site, Mexico to lead new product introductions from initiation to production transfer. You will establish project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements while coordinating with engineers, management, and consultants.

You'll communicate customer specifications, review daily production plans, and provide technical direction to resolve issues, all while guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with FDA QSR standards.

Qualifications

• BSc/BE in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
• Project management knowledge and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with medical devices and FDA QSR compliance.
• Financial management and cost control experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and process improvement.
• Familiarity with assembly processes and production transfers.
• MS Project and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Establish project schedules, financial parameters and technical requirements for initiatives.
• Communicate customer requirements, schedules and budgets to cross-functional teams.
• Review daily production schedule and identify problem areas.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve issues and steer projects.
• Develop status reports including project financials and cost control.
• Maintain project plans, procedures and deliverables.
• Present technical information on projects and schedules.
• Assist in management of larger projects/programs.
• Advise junior PMs to meet goals and policies.
• Engage with customers and senior/middle management as needed.
