Job summary

Flex is seeking an NPI Manager in Mexico to lead NPIs, transfers, and production ramp-ups. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and technical requirements, and drive successful project deliveries in a regulated medical devices environment.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop project plans, monitor performance, and provide guidance to engineers and managers to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Project Management knowledge.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Full project management including NPIs, transfers, proto, and ramp-up.
• Experience in medical devices and regulatory compliance (FDA QSR).
• Operations and budget management experience.
• Lean manufacturing exposure.
• Financial concepts: P&L, budgets, fixed costs & quotations.

Responsibilities

• Establish project schedule, financial parameters and technical requirements for NPIs and transfers.
• Communicate customer requirements, project schedule, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams.
• Review daily production schedule and identify problem areas.
• Assess causes of problems and provide technical direction to project team.
• Develop status reports including project financials and cost control.
• Maintain project plan documents, procedures and deliverables.
• Present technical information for projects and schedules.
• Assist in management of larger projects/programs.
• Advise junior PMs to achieve goals per policy.
