Amphenol Communications Solutions in Mexicali is seeking an NPI Project Manager to lead cross-functional New Product Introduction projects for high-speed cable cartridge assemblies, guiding design transfer from EVT through mass production ramp while meeting customer requirements.

You will coordinate Engineering, Operations, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to develop plans, manage risks, and ensure readiness at each phase-gate, including PFMEA, control plans, and tooling, with an emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of project or program management experience in electronics, connectors, cable assembly, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing NPI, product transfer, or production ramp.
• Strong scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, process validation, SPC, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and change control.
• Advanced English and Spanish/English communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead NPI projects from design transfer through production launch with integrated plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Planning.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure phase-gate deliverables are completed.
• Maintain risk registers and drive containment and corrective actions.
• Coordinate engineering and scope changes during the launch.
• Plan prototype, qualification, pilot and production builds with readiness.
• Partner with Planning and Purchasing to manage BOM readiness and material availability.
• Coordinate process validation, line qualification and test readiness.
• Serve as primary program interface between Mexicali factory and global teams.
