AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an NPD and Continuous Improvement Engineer in Reynosa, MX to lead new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing readiness, documentation, and cost objectives are achieved, while driving automation, capacity growth, and AI-enabled optimization. The role requires strong project management, quality tooling knowledge (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC), and bilingual English/Spanish collaboration with

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least five years in NPD or similar engineering roles.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Knowledge of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA.
• ISO 9001, UL, CSA knowledge; AI aptitude a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office, Minitab and ERP systems.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead NPD and product introduction from requirements to production release.
• Develop and track project plans, deliverables, and schedules.
• Coordinate launch activities with cross-functional teams.
• Manage product qualification, testing, and production readiness.
• Lead cost-reduction and value engineering projects.
• Support Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing and PPAP documentation.
