Job summary

ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico, seeks an HSE professional to strengthen health, safety and environmental performance within its operations. You will apply in-depth HSE knowledge, support risk management, and promote a strong HSE culture across the ABB value chain.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, the role focuses on incident investigations, corrective actions, ISO alignment, and employee engagement through training and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in sustainability, administrative, industrial or related engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate English level and knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow up KPIs to monitor HSE performance and refine metrics.
• Document and track corrective and preventive actions from audits and incidents.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and develop targeted action plans.
• Coordinate and conduct investigations of incidents and near misses, identifying root causes.
• Maintain and improve the site's integrated management system (ISO 14001/45001/50001).
• Design and launch awareness campaigns and training to promote HSE culture.

Education
