Maersk is seeking a Night-Shift Multicarrier Dispatch Specialist to coordinate container movements, assign loads to drivers, and schedule port appointments. You will act as a link between drivers, customers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure efficient drayage operations and timely appointments.

The role emphasizes strong organization, process discipline, and customer focus. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in shipping/logistics, English proficiency, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, dispatch, or landside operations.
• Experience coordinating transportation movements, container operations, or carrier management.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/tracking tools.

Responsabilités

• Assign loads to drivers in Trinium, ensuring allocation based on availability and requirements.
• Support drivers with day-to-day challenges and provide real-time guidance.
• Generate daily Dispatch Reports consolidating planning data from multiple sources.
• Schedule pickup and drop-off appointments through terminal websites and facilities.
• Monitor and track import/export container movements for timely execution.
• Investigate completed/pending loads to maintain visibility and accuracy.
• Evaluate driver availability and assign loads by qualifications and equipment needs.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding drayage issues and updates.
• Review accessorial charges and coordinate with settlements for billing.
• Evaluate repair requests and determine external providers when needed.
• Ensure updates in systems and mobile apps are accurate and timely.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and service quality.
