Job summary

Nokia in Mexico is seeking a Design & Planning Specialist to design, analyze, plan, and modify network components, supporting customer implementation activities across labs and production. You will evaluate performance criteria and capacity needs for switching, routing, and signaling.

You will lead end-to-end design activities for physical network deployments, develop LLDs from architecture and HLDs, and craft MOPs to ensure reliable deployments and migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years telecom experience with Core Network deployment, integration, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Native technologies, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, TCP/IP networking, TLS, YAML/JSON.
• Strong English communication for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration of complex software solutions across Nokia Labs, Customer Labs, and Production environments.
• Contribute to SD, customer requirements, architecture documentation, and develop LLDs.
• Design, develop, and execute MOPs for consistent deployments and migrations.
• Develop and execute ATPs, support customer acceptance activities, and perform integrations.
• Troubleshoot issues, support FOA activities, and ensure successful production deployments.
• Build trusted advisory relationships with customer engineering teams and mentor others.
• Act as a technical leader guiding teams on migrations and initiatives.
