Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking an XDR Engineer for its MXDR Team to safeguard customer assets and detect threats across cloud environments. You will leverage vulnerability analysis, incident response, and SIEM tooling to strengthen security postures for top-tier US-based clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain dashboards, and contribute to process improvements while staying ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience
• Two cyber security certifications or advanced certs (CISM, CISSP, SecurityX, SC-200/SC-100, Security+, CySA+, CEH)
• Working knowledge of SIEM, incident management, and detection engineering
• OS fundamentals and networking knowledge
• Experience with cloud security and threat hunting

Responsibilities

• Monitor security across SIEM, log management, and EDR tools to detect anomalies
• Perform incident response and threat hunting for clients across cloud environments
• Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to implement security monitoring
• Prepare analytical reports and briefings for clients and stakeholders
• Participate in on-call rotations to support client needs
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and dashboards for security operations
