Cornerstone Building Brands in the United States seeks a Supply Chain Planner to schedule projects for manufacture, assign demand to fabrication plants, and report to the Supply Chain organization. This role balances capacity utilization against customer timelines and coordinates across plants.

The role involves reviewing project plans, confirming readiness for scheduling, collaborating with Commercial on exceptions, maintaining production levels, and working with other planners to optimize

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Team-oriented contributor; supports individual and team objectives.
• Ability to establish priority among multiple demands to ensure the right work is being executed.
• Strong communication skills to support relationships within planning, supply chain, with commercial, and with manufacturing.
• Excel proficient, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and handling large datasets.
• Exposure to Kaizen / continuous improvement is highly preferable.
• Willingness to work in small teams to analyze and improve workflow and existing standards.
• Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to spend time on the shop floor to understand workflows and cycle times.

Responsabilidades

• Review of un-scheduled project reporting.
• Confirm project is ready for first-pass scheduling.
• Compare project demands to network capacities and apply production, loading, & shipping dates.
• Collaborate with Commercial organization on handling exceptions.
• Maintain level scheduled production volumes within planning horizon.
• Collaborate with other planners to execute cross-network supply and balance LT.
