Job summary

HSBC Global Service Center in Mexico City seeks an MSS Analyst to provide efficient processing for trade validation, confirmation and settlement across all asset classes, including GFX, derivatives and fixed income. The role interfaces with MSS Bermuda and external clients while maintaining risk controls and timely escalation of issues.

Qualifications

• MS Excel, Outlook and Word proficiency required.
• Strong knowledge of US Domestic fixed income settlement processes.
• Proven experience in a related settlements role.
• Experience in MSS or settlements operations is a plus.
• FX and money market knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trade validations and settlements processed before settlement dates across asset classes.
• Provide high quality MSS Bermuda and external client support.
• Validate and settle transactions across all asset classes.
• Maintain zero PLA breaches and no operational loss.
• Review procedures to ensure group standards; pursue continuous improvement.
• Ensure settlements before currency cut-off and in line with PT guidelines.
• Identify issues, escalate appropriately to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Comply with audit recommendations and FIM requirements through reviews.
• Learn new products and terms to ensure accurate processing.
